RIAI PRACTICE
Celebrating 30 years in practice in 2023. From the outset, Magee Creedon Architects have delivered site-specific, client-centered, and imaginative design solutions. These include award-winning buildings at a range of scales for both the private and public sector.

We pride ourselves on providing a personal service. We start by developing a holistic understanding of our client's brief, then skilfully use drawings and models to convey our ideas and adopt a problem-solving approach throughout the procurement process. Our work culminates in well-crafted, cost-effective, thoughtful and enduring buildings and spaces.

We have particular experience in sensitive urban regeneration. One of our earliest schemes was selected as a Pilot Project promoting the 'Living Over the Shop' initiative in 1995. Our Coppinger Court multi-unit residential scheme won the first Best Sustainable Building Award from the Department of the Environment in 2004.
We are now more interested than ever in working with renewable materials and the principles of regenerative design and landscaping.

Our work extends beyond the office and includes part-time lecturing at UCC Cork Centre for Architectural Education (CCAE), guest critic, partaking in architectural competitions, exhibitions, film making, and speaking at conferences on subjects such as housing and urban renewal. Our work has featured in multiple publications.

The practice is a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and Grade 3 Conservation accredited. The services we provide include RIAI Schedule A services from inception to completion, master-planning, conservation, disability access and fire safety certificate applications, PSDP services, Design and Assigned Certifiers.
